Responsible for operations of assigned department(s). Provides oversight as needed; responsible for personnel management, budget planning and monitoring, scheduling, systems improvement, compliance with regulatory requirements and strategic planning. Works in a clinical capacity to facilitate smooth functioning of the department when necessary.DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONSamaritan Wound Care treats acute or chronic wounds caused by diabetes, surgery, injury, poor blood flow and/or other problems. The scope of practice is physician driven and centered around wound, ostomy and continence care while maintaining additional adjunctive therapies such as vein medicine and hyperbaric medicine.EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONSOne (1) of the following required:Current unencumbered Oregon RN License, BSN or equivalent nursing experience, Wound Care Certification (e.g. CWCN, CWOCN, or WCC) and three (3) years experience in Med/Surg, ICU and/or Surgery.Current unencumbered Oregon licensed Nurse Practitioner.One (1) year experience in an Outpatient department leadership role required.Healthcare Provider BLS required.Master's degree preferred.Nursing Experience in Critical Care or Surgery preferred.LCH Wound Ostomy:Two (2) years wound care experience required.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESLeadership - Inspires, motivates, and guides others toward accomplishing goals.
